John is wedding to Ellie. Steve is happy for them.
At night Steve goes home and sees Ellie stealing the Beacon.
She throws the Beacon between herself and Steve.
Suddenly John and the Guards come running.
John, hesitatingly, points to Steve, who is being catching and he sees Ellie thanking John, while John looks at Steve sadly and looks away.
In court, Steve and John argue over who did it. The judge decides to arrange a duel in which John and Steve will find out who is right.
