Welcome to the series where we break down how to position Soldier 76 on every map. Our fourth map we're looking at is Route 66. It is one of the better 76 maps in the game because sight lines are very open and the last point can be difficult for flankers to attack. There is also a decent amount of high ground options for attack and defense.
The most difficult area for Soldier is attacking the first point. Getting around the first corner and clearing Big Earl's takes help from teammates if the top cave is not available. Most of the time it is contested at the Master skill rank I play at. The rest of the map is better suited to a fairly independent play style.
