Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is a first-person shooter video game developed by Treyarch and Raven Software and published by Activision. It is the sixth installment in the Black Ops series, and the seventeenth installment in the overall Call of Duty series. Serving as the direct sequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops (2010) and the direct prequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops II (2012), the game was released on November 13, 2020.
Black Ops Cold War is set during the early 1980s of the Cold War. Its campaign follows CIA officer Russell Adler as he pursues an alleged Soviet spy, Perseus, whose stated goal is to subvert the United States and tilt the balance of power toward the Soviet Union. Multiplayer will have new game modes, more extensive customization, and new map dynamics and elements.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows. It is a reboot of the original Modern Warfare trilogy. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is the sixteenth game in the Call of Duty franchise, the fourth game in the Modern Warfare series, and Infinity Ward's second to be developed in a three-year development cycle. Announced on May 30th, 2019, the game was released on October 25th, 2019. Call of Duty: Warzone is a free-to-play Call of Duty game developed by Infinity Ward and Raven Software for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows. Warzone is also a component for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The game features two modes, a Battle Royale mode and a Plunder mode.
