Let's Play Mermaids!
No fancy hair, makeup or costuming; just a bunch of kindred spirits having fun together, enjoying the water & the camaraderie, letting go of the everyday to play mermaids. ^_^
I'm so glad to have found the Oregon Mers group on Facebook! This is my second swim with them, and these adventures have been great reminders of what mermaiding SHOULD BE all about; the FUN of it! ^_^ It's the feeling of flying weightlessly & moving through the water, the freedom, the joy.. the expression, the exploration, the adventure and the wonder! ^_^ It's the learning and growing as a mer- both together with friends and as an individual, and just letting everything go to have fun, being in the moment for once. ^_^ I hope you have that chance with your friends, and if you haven't in a while, that you do so sometime soon. ^_^
For those who may be curious; my tail is the Autumn Foliage by Nereid Studios. :)
