This is the maiden flight of my Parkzone Sport Cub BNF. The maiden flight went well. It seemed a little nose heavy. I landed it and moved the battery back a little and it helped. The nose drops some unless you are giving a little up elevator. A 2200 mAh lipo seems to worsen this problem. I pushed it all the way toward the rear of the battery compartment and it still wants to nose down. My Cub needed zero aileron and rudder trim. The plane is really fun to fly and easy to land. It is a little more squirrelly on the ground than I expected.
Here is a little bad news. The landing gear fairings want to pop off on bouncy landings. One of mine already has a couple of the retainer tabs broken off. A little packing tape should keep them on. One of my vortex generator strips flew off in mid flight. I pressed them down pretty good. A little glue should fix that issue. Now the really bad news. On the second battery, I was doing "touch and goes". I landed and it darted right. I watched my Cub hit one of our starter tables while giving it full left rudder. It put a little dent in the leading edge of my left wing. I'm really bummed out about that. Is there anything I can do to fix that?
