MAMA AFRICA
The goal of this documentary, released in 2010, is simple: show Africa from the point of view of Africans. Instead of a continent marked only by poverty, war and sorrow, the film shows the joy and optimism of the African people. The director Ale Braga portrayed the views of men and women in Mozambique, Tanzania, South Africa, Senegal, Malawi, Morocco, Swaziland, Guinea-Bissau, Cape Verde and Ghana.
The film, critically acclaimed, was screened at international festivals such as the Doc Meeting Argentina and BRAFFT (Brazilian Film Festival in Canada).
