In this video I am down to explore a park that is so close to me, but I kept forgetting to go and check it out. The last time I was at this park was in 1979 on a 3rd grade field trip. I discovered something when I was in the area last October and not too many people know about it. Before Valley Forge became a national park there was a limestone quarry operation in it, later the quarry became polluted with asbestos. Since then, the quarry has been cleaned up, but you can still find the remains today if you know where to look. While there I had an unexpected encounter with an animal that I wasn't expecting to find there.
