The Defiant One by The Halo Effect | Melodic Death Metal | Guitar Cover
Release: 22nd of November 2023 , learnt by ear. Have lots of fun with my brand new guitar cover of "The Defiant One", the newest single of Gothenburg Melodic Death Metal Band "The Halo Effect". If you are into In Flames, Dark Tranquillity and "all these bands", listen to their debut album "Days Of The Lost" and keep your eyes open for a new album release in 2024! Also I had the incredible chance to interview Niclas Engelin! Video will be up very soon! Let me know how you enjoyed this one. Cheers!

🎶 LYRICS 🎶
We've waited too long for this
The edge to which we've gone
The sacrifice is made before us
To come this far
Predicated on the choices we've made
We're about to bring this circle down
Let this be
The defiant hour
Let me be
The defiant one (one, one)
Don't fail me
Don't fail me
Don't fail defiantly
Don't fail me
Don't fail me now
I am not your еyes
We've wastеd too much already
The malleable are led astray
The blood of their determination
Seeps into the unknowing mind
[?]
Let this be
The final hour
Let me be
The defiant one (one, one)
To bring this down
You can't tell me
You can't tell me what to see
Don't tell me
Don't tell me what to see
Don't fail me
Don't fail me
Don't fail defiantly
Don't fail me
Don't fail me now
I am not your eyes
Don't fail me
Don't fail me now
The defiant one
Don't fail me
Don't fail me now
The defiant one
