WMATA 2008 New Flyer DE40LFA 6377 on Route G14 Ride
Here is a ride onboard a 2008 New Flyer DE40LFA on Route G14 between Greenbelt Road and Greenbelt station (a small section was cut in old Greenbelt as one my Jersey friends called me briefly). This is the first time I rode on a DE40LFA in 12 years after their original assignment left for Shepherd Parkway. (hey siri play Dreams and Nightmares).
DE40LFAs have FINALLY returned to Landover (not counting loans) after 12 years of being absent from there. Landover received multiple DE40LFAs from Andrews Federal Center, Cinder Bed, and Shepherd Parkway during the June 2024 moves, which is similar to the D40LFRs they received back in 2021. Currently they have 6366, 6374, 6377-6380, 6500, 6504, 6510, 6512, 6522-6523, and 6561-6563.
This will be the one time I'd act as a foamer since I actually really like the DE40LFAs, and having them back at Landover makes me super happy as I remember they left for Shepherd Parkway all those years ago ("I used to pray for times like this" -Meek Mills). Ight thats enough with my yapping
