21 International Carbon Market
The inaugural international workshop on "Connectivity of Asian Voluntary Carbon Markets" held at Kowloon Commerce Centre (KCC) in Hong Kong was a significant step towards enhancing the connectivity of Asian Voluntary Carbon Markets (VCMs). Jointly organized by the Hong Kong Green Finance Association (HKGFA), Capacity-building Alliance of Sustainable Investment (CASI), MVGX Holdings (MVGX), and the Institute of Finance and Sustainability (IFS), the event brought together key stakeholders to exchange best practices and explore options for improving the functionality and interconnectivity of VCMs across Asia. This collaborative effort highlights the growing importance of regional cooperation in developing robust carbon markets, enabling more efficient carbon trading and contributing to the region's overall sustainability goals.
