Jay was the quarterback for the 1992 national championship team. Honors: He was the 1994 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award winner, Davey O'Brien outstanding quarterback finalist, Street and Smith exemplary player of the year of college football, and a Heisman Trophy finalist, where he finished in fifth place.
