HOW TO USE A BROWNELL'S STUD TOOL for sling swivels
Putting on studs on gun stock for a sling swivel sling
1) Drill a 5/32 hole with drill bit , measure depth of stud and mark with masking tape .
2) using a 7/32 th drill tape for recess for stud body to sit in
3) Place stud in ( use a little dry soap on stud)stock butt turn in with brownells tool , then remove stud .
4) Mix up bob smith’s epoxy equal amounts
On cardboard with popsicle stick . With a cut off q -tip use stick part to put epoxy in stud hole .
5) Put stud in and turn in slowly with Brownells tool, until to set into recess with sling holes on each side of butt stock .
6) let set over night put sling on next day .
