How to Train Administrative Police (KOP) I: How to Become a Policewoman
Training Course for Police Officers and Persons Recruited or Transferred to Civil Service
Non-Commissioned Police Officers: The abbreviation is "KOP."
Trainees are referred to as trainees. The training course for Police Officers and Persons Recruited or Transferred to Civil Service is the abbreviation "NOP." The training framework is a three-month period consisting of two and a half months of academic and training sessions, followed by a half-month of integrated and extra-curricular activities.
The principle is to ensure that all trainees possess knowledge and understanding, enabling them to develop themselves through a training process that promotes self-development and reaches their full potential. This aims to ensure that they possess the necessary knowledge and skills for the duties of non-commissioned police officers, including administrative duties, clerical work, legal matters, and other essential knowledge
for performing other duties in accordance with the objectives of the Royal Thai Police.
Curriculum Structure
Training for Police Officers and Persons Recruited or Transferred to Civil Service
The training period is 3 months.
Divided into two parts:
Academic and training period: 2.5 months (10 weeks)
Integrated and extracurricular activities period: 2.5 months (2 weeks)
If the aforementioned police officers have already completed or completed training in the Police Cadet Course, Police Sergeant Course, or other Royal Thai Police courses, with a training period of at least 3 months, they are exempt from this training program. If they are eligible for a salary based on their qualifications, they may request a salary adjustment based on their qualifications without having to attend this training program again. Once they receive this salary adjustment, they will not be promoted from non-commissioned to commissioned officer.
Training holidays refer to the following days:
Weekly public holidays
Public holidays
Training holidays when requested by special order
