MLS Prospects: How Have They Changed Since 2015? (statistically)
How have Major League Soccer's top prospects changed since the 2015 season? In this video, I take a statistical approach to answer that question in a variety of ways. Every year, MLS releases a list called the 'MLS 22 Under 22' (formerly named the 'MLS 24 Under 24') where it ranks the top 22 youngsters under the age of 22. I made a spreadsheet comparing the list from 2015 to the list created a a few months back in 2020 and have made various conclusions over how MLS prospects are produced, what country they come from, and who produces the most.
