Every human is an expression of the Divine. As Pierre Teilhard de Chardin said, “We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.” Our spiritual identity includes the human experience. The joys and heartbreaks, the achievements and disappointments, the connections and loss- it’s all included. Our humanity is not something to overcome, rather, we are called to meet ourselves with compassion, love, and acceptance. The more we can make our humanity welcome, the more we will experience the freedom and lightness of our Divinity.
Affirmation: I belong to a loving Universe; all of me is welcome. I am loving and compassionate toward myself and all beings.
