Téa's Coffee: Migration in Europe
The European Union has been a global leader when it comes to the free movement of goods AND people. The Schengen Agreement between the majority of the EU’s members allows for the free unrestricted movement of over 400 million citizens.
However, despite this, there is rapidly growing xenophobic sentiment infecting European politics. From Spain to Sweden, prejudices against migrants are being particularly aimed at migrants from Africa and the Middle East, who comprise the majority of migration to the continent.
