My Alla Prima Painting Process
I don't get a lot of chances to paint live, but when I went to an art conference in 2018 this was one of the works I liked the most. I ended up giving the model the painting as she volunteered her day to pose.
This was created in oils using Alkyd Butter as a medium. It's a great option when you are travelling and not have to take or re-purchase Linseed.
I originally posted this on TikTok and I wanted this as a 'long short' but it's not rolled out yet where I am.
