This Paper GUN Is Shockingly POWERFUL
In this episode on EASY ORIGAMI, I build a completely paper pistol inspired by the legendary Desert Eagle — and yes… it actually fires!
The real Desert Eagle is one of the most famous semi-automatic pistols in the world. Designed in the 1980s and manufactured by Magnum Research, it’s known for its massive size, powerful recoil, and ability to chamber extremely large calibers like .50 Action Express. Because of its distinctive, oversized frame and incredible power, the Desert Eagle became iconic in action movies, video games, and pop culture. It’s often portrayed as one of the most powerful handguns ever made.
But today, we’re transforming that legendary design into something completely safe and made entirely from paper.
This realistic paper pistol is built using only sheets of paper and powered by two strong rubber bands. It can be loaded with paper “bullets” and fired just like a real pistol — but it’s completely safe and perfect for creative fun. The mechanism is simple, clever, and surprisingly powerful for a rubber band design.
