Today we're talking about the Pamirs and their freedom-loving inhabitants. According to Oxford University professor Max Müller, it was in the Pamirs that the Aryan peoples began their migration in the 2nd millennium BC. The renowned geographer Karl Ritter went even further in his writings, suggesting that the Pamirs are the birthplace not only of the Aryan branch, but of all humanity.
