Should testing be performed by development or independent team?
Whether the development team should perform testing on its own or by a separated, independent team is challenging to answer without additional information. Both approaches have their pros and cons. However, in modern agile testing, the development team prefers testing inside the team, and we can partially mitigate the disadvantages of biased testing with the Test-Driven Development (TDD).
