Previously we chatted about the Network Time Protocol. In this video we will take a look at some next level measurement with the Precision Time Protocol. This is not from the IETF but rather from the IEEE Std 1588. While most of us will continue to use NTP, for measurements that can reach sub-nanosecond deltas, PTP is the way to go.
