Sheldon Quewezance is the founder of the Nicola Valley Bigfoot Podcast and the Nicola Valley Bigfoot Conference. Sheldon defines himself as a Sasquatch enthusiast who has had close encounters with the being on a couple of occasions. Growing up with a First Nations heritage, Sheldon heard the stories of encounters from the elders which started his fascination with Bigfoot.
Sheldon got into the podcast and research game because he feels people love Sasquatch, and whether it be the mystery of it, or the fact that there are these beings walking around our forest that we haven’t quite figured out what or who they are, I think that draws a lot of attention. First and foremost, I’m not an expert, I’m just an enthusiast, I love the subject of it; I don’t have any definite answer as to what they are, where they are, or who they are. That’s part of the mystery that I love. That’s part of the whole lore of Sasquatch that I love being a part of, the unknown factor of it.”
