SOTP is an amazing mod that every Halo Fan, Covenant or UNSC should check out. Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion, the base game it's converted from, fully supports this kind of mods, thus installation is easy and encouraged by the Devs.

I truly recommend giving it a try, and if you don't win as UNSC, you can alway delve into the game files and tweak a ship or two, making scenes and battles from Halo Lore more epic, large-scale and brighter than ever... Though that's mostly because of the SHIVA Nuclear missiles the UNSC likes.
