Our story opens with a shot in the dark.
There’s been a murder in Gotham Park.
Everyone’s searching for a clue,
But the Commissioner knows what to do…
He flashes the Bat-Signal in the sky.
The defender of justice is standing by.
When dressed in his Batcave down deep in the ground,
He’s off in his nuclear Batmobile
To save the town.

And Gotham settles down until the next time
The dreaded Bat-Signal in the sky is needed
To summon the invincible…

The murder weapon had yet to be found,

But then he put it back so no one would see,
And waited quietly behind a tree.
The villain returns to the scene of the crime
To dig up the weapon that he left behind.
He turns around to make his get away,

Crime don’t pay.
