Gen. H. Norman Schwarzkopf Stormin Norman died in Tampa Fla where he lived since the military. He was 78.directed 700,000 coalition troops from 30 nations in a six-week air assault of Iraqi forces in January 91 after the Saddam Hussein Iraqi Army invaded to the south Kuwait. That was followed by a ground campaign that pushed the Iraqis out of Kuwait.He served in his military assignment in Tampa as commander-in-chief of U.S. Central Command responsible for U.S. military and security in 20 countries from eastern Mediterranean Africa to Pakistan many people were seen to be holding back tears.
