Having learned of an ancient artifact, the gray ninja Ito, who possesses the rare art of Kemuri, sets out to find it. However, he isn't the only one who knows about the artifact. A gang of bandits, led by Kendo, also wants it. Assisting them in this quest is a black ninja named Bonsai. He is a trained and skilled warrior who was hired to kill the gray ninja.
