Controlling Bolt camera robot with an iPad
🕹 There’s been a lot of interest with our ability to get natural non-robotic shots with our Bolt camera motion control systems, so we’ve put together this demo showing how straight forward it is to have the robot mimic handheld motion - as opposed to the traditional programming of movement.
🎬 Here, I’m recording handheld position and rotation data from the lidar and motion sensors in an iOS device. This tool can be utilised by the cinematographer or even the director to choose their shots. We transfer this data to the robot in 60secs… and it can be as simple as that. Now you have a hand held organic shot that can now be repeated, scaled, stretched to run faster or slower for a time-lapse… The applications are honestly endless.
