So, what is this channel about?
Hello, This is Haru, on this channel I'm going to mainly deal with three topics, which are how the Western world is viewed from a South Korean's perspective, the background context of conventions and trending cultures in South Korea, and finally the cultural difference between the Eastern and the Western society from a Korean's perspective not only based on personal experiences but also interviews with people and sometimes factual statistics when required.
So, to give me a little bit of credential, I'd like to tell you that I'm a South Korean who was born, and has grown up in South Korea until I became an adult.
Then, what made me start this youtube channel?
As a person who had lived in such an enormously homogeneous country, I was so indifferent to the world outside South Korea, just like average Korean kids.
However, the world geography class I took in my highschool let me know how various the world is. This basically fired up my desire to extend the horizon of my world by recognizing the other side of the world that I had never known before.
Now I've been living in Australia for more than two years, and have travelled 14 different countries so far including the ones that I have visited multiple times.
Just like I have experienced my world being broadended by stepping into whole different wrold from my home country,
I also wanted to share this experience by helping those who have much interest in South Korea put one more step into Korea and Eastern Asia,
so that you could also broaden your viewpoint to the world as I did.
