How to Change Root Password through Linode? Changing Root Password through Linode by AAG Developer

To change the root password of your server:
Click the Dashboard link corresponding to the server.
Click Rescue
Under the "Reset Root Password" heading, type a new root password and click the reset button.
Also reboot your server.
Keep in mind that if you have disabled root access on your server, you will need to enable it again to be able to login with your new password.
