Couple corrections and extra info to keep you on the right track!
Corrections
Palmitic acid is 14 carbons long, (not 16!)
FFA are modified primarily in the ER, rather than the Golgi
The two hydroxyls mentioned in the carrier site are actually ONE oxygen that gets two hydrogens added onto it, thus making the H2O. Same idea :)
Extras
Citrate Lyase uses an ATP
Carbon source for Acetyle CoA becoming Malonyl CoA is Bicarb
As stated in the video Acetyl CoA Carboxylase IS indeed the committed step :)
