The Day Brawl Stars Changed Forever...
December 1, 2022. This is the day that brawl stars as we knew it would change forever. The progression system in brawl stars for the most part had always been boxes. Whether it was a regular box, big box, or mega box, pretty much all progression came from here. However, on this fateful day, brawl stars would announce that they would be removing boxes from the game forever. This is a change that would completely rattle the brawl stars community, and it’s safe to say that it was a controversial change. Based on the like to dislike ratio from the initial video, it’s safe to say that many people weren’t too fond of this update. It’s still better than any recent clash royale update, but that isn’t saying too much. So in this video I wanted to take a look back on this incredibly important update. We’re going to talk about how everything unfolded, talk about the starr road, and then talk about starr drops. And ultimately, we’ll answer the question: was removing boxes good for brawl stars?
