Once upon a time, Princess Intan Korong had to leave her birth city in the land of Makasar in order to marry a general of Minangjaya Kingdom named Laksamana. Only later, Intan Korong felt abandoned because Laksamana loved his work very much. Intan Korong then tried to harbor her feeling of loneliness to the crown prince of Minangjaya named Anggun Nan Tongga; whereas Anggun Nan Tongga himself had engaged to Gondan Gondoria, the beautiful daughter of a commander in Minangjaya Kingdom. Laksamana who got jealous after finding about this tried to kill Anggun Nan Tongga but he then cancelled his intention because of his wife’s request. The married couple then argued heatedly. Intan Korong didn’t want to be blamed by her husband and chose to return to her birth city, Makasar.
In a meeting, the queen of Minangjaya blamed the two people positioned next to her and regretted that all of these happened. She awakened Laksamana’s awareness about his hypocrisy and she opened Anggun Nan Tongga’s heart toward Gondan Gondoria’s sincerity. Anggun Nan Tongga regretted his action and soon followed to Gondan Gondoria’s hideout, in the mountainside of Ledang Mountain. Unfortunately, Gondan Gondoria didn’t accept any apology anymore. She’s determined to forget Anggun Nan Tongga and erase all her love for him. She told Anggun Nan Tongga “I will never hate you Anggun because love is too tough against hatred. I only try to ignore it because love will give in when facing by ignorance.
