The Champions League Will Never Be The Same
The UEFA Champions League has been the pinnacle of European football for the last 30 years. Some of the most intense, exciting and electrifying games, goals and moments that this sport has witnessed have come from this competition. With the start of the 2024/24 Champions League season, we will see a complete overhaul of the group stage format, as we go from a 32 team group stage format to a 36 team league format. Will these changes improve the competition, or is this another money grab from UEFA? Either way, the Champions League that we know and love will never be the same.
