Music Producer Breaks Down Quadeca - Tell Me a Joke
Here is my reaction and breakdown of @quadecaX8 ‘s new song, Tell Me a Joke. This is his 2nd single from his upcoming album, I Didn’t Mean To Haunt You (IDMTHY), which has been announced to release on November 11th and feature Danny Brown, the Sunday Service Choir (famous for working with Kanye West) and Thor Harris (the drummer for the band Swans).
As a music producer myself, I feel like I can offer a good perspective into all the work Quadeca has put into producing and mixing this song, and explain the techniques he uses. I also did my best to break down the meaning behind the song, picking out visual and lyrical hints about the significance of this song, based off of what I understand from his previous single Born Yesterday.
