A behind-the-scenes look back to November 1970 with writer-director Blake Edwards as he filmed on location in Northern Arizona for his epic western "Wild Rovers" (1971) starring William Holden, Ryan O'Neal and Karl Malden. One of the principal scenes was bronc bustin' with the two cowboys-turned-outlaws. It was shot in Fort Valley and Hart Prairie at the base of the San Francisco Peaks, north of Flagstaff.
Featured is a soaring musical score by Oscar-winner Jerry Goldsmith. Cinematography by Philip H. Lathrop, film editing by John F. Burnett.
