After the Cosmo/Mo breakup, things are passive aggressive between Cosmo and Lumko. But business is booming, and Cosmo needs to let Lumko in a little deeper into the operation to help. This is how Lumko learns that Oom Riaan is actually the drug mule who brings the drugs in and out of JHB. Post her one round with Vusi, Miss J is avoiding him because the maintenance guy seems to be catching feelings. She can’t avoid him forever, so she has the chat with him, telling him a relationship is not possible as she’s still hung up on her boyfriend. Vusi takes the truth on the chin, but Junaid is not as receptive when Miss J tells him she wants him to go for a psych evaluation as she suspects he has a mood disorder. To Junaid, this sounds like he is a mad person, so he resists going to evaluation. In the A story, Mo is turning 18 and is summoned home to celebrate. The celebration is more like a macabre memorial of her twin sister’s death. Being around her parents at this time of the year is torture for Mo as she is reminded at every turn how the wrong twin died. When her mother hosts some VIPs for a special dinner, Mo has had enough of the pretence and publicly tells her mother every ugly feeling that exists between them. She runs off to her dead sister’s bed and cries for the parental love she will never get.
