Simple video on how to create a metal basket using an Eisenkraft machine.
Final dimensions of this particular baskets are 140mm (5.51 inch) × 75mm (2.95 inch).
The starting piece is 200mm (7.87 inch) in length and 12mm (0.47 inch) in width, composed of four 6mm (0.23 inch) square bars.
One step would be a 1/4 of a circle, which in turn equals 5mm (0.19 inch) of the length of the material, meaning when you twist the metal and you make 1/4 of the circle, or one step, the material will shrink in length for 5mm (0.19 inch).
The steps to create this particular basket are:
a. 5 x winding.
b. 8.5 x unwinding.
c. Removing the security pin so the main head does not rotate anymore and just presses the piece.
d. 5 x pressing the piece so it gets wider.
Tip: You can mark each handle with different color for easy tracking of the steps.
