A couple things:
The piece is for a 5-octave marimba. I'm playing it here on a 4.6, with some inversions in the left hand.
This performance is DEFINITELY NOT 100% note accurate! It's certainly accurate enough to give a clear picture of what the piece should sound like, but there's absolutely some wrong notes in there.
This video was a performance for my DCI I&E entry in 2021 (hence the uniform). I got 3rd place and they also invited me to perform the piece in Lucas Oil, which was very cool and very scary. I missed a lot of notes and then blocked out the memory. Two amazing musicians, Noe Treviño and Nikolai Coletta, got 1st and 2nd respectively and you should check out their performances as well.

*Fun Fact*
One time, Nancy Zeltsman (a legendary musician & educator for whom I have the utmost respect) referred to this piece as "very athletic", which might've been a compliment. However, I misheard her, and thought she said "Abladic", which is not a word. I asked her what the word meant, explaining that I had never seen or heard it, and she was extremely surprised to find out that I was entirely unfamiliar with the word "Athletic". She kindly defined it for me, and I gradually realized what had happened. I felt like a fool. I still think about it sometimes.
