Xtremity Portable Vacuum Stand Fabrication
Fabricating the XtremityTT is simple and only needs a small amount of equipment to complete. This video will walk you through building a benchtop vacuum stand. You can buy all of these items at your local hardware store for about $50.
Equipment/Materials Needed:
1. 1 1/4" Galvanized threaded pipe
2. 1 1/4" Floor flange
3. 1/4" Barbs x3
4. Ball Valve
5. 1/4" Inside diamter flexible hose (about 5ft long)
6. Bolt
7. C-Clamps X2
Tools Needed:
1. Drill or drill press
2. 7/16" Drill bit (and additional smaller bits)
3. Tap for barbs (make sure the tap matches the barb thread)
4. Epoxy for sealing barbs
5. Oil for drilling
6. Thread tape
7. Wrench
8. Punch
9. Small amount of resin for sealing the pipe base
