Making the Supercomputer ENEA (english subtitles)
E4 Computer Engineering S.p.A. and Intel have joined forces with ENEA (the National agency for new technologies, energy and sustainable economic development) to manufacture the supercomputer CRESCO4 which aims to increase computing power at the ENEA Research Center in Portici (Naples) by working alongside the other three clusters CRESCO 1, 2 and 3.
Thanks to the collaboration with ENEA, the research center's overall computing power has now trebled and processing times for numeric model simulation have decreased enormously.
