In 2015 RME released the Babyface Pro, their critically acclaimed professional and portable audio interface. Four years later and RME have released the follow-up model, the Babyface Pro FS.
With our first batch having arrived in the UK, we unbox this small but powerful interface and give a quick overview of some of the improvements RME have made.
Whilst a Kensington lock port and a dedicated switch for control over the main XLR output pair have been added to the outside, the big changes are all on the inside with the addition of SteadyClock FS, RME’s new clocking technology that provides super-accurate AD and DA conversion, and even helps to improve the clarity of older equipment.
