Flat feet are a flattening of the arch of the foot, causing the medial edge of the foot to touch the floor when walking.
This reduces the shock-absorbing function of the foot, leading to rapid leg fatigue, pain when walking, and increased stress on the joints of the lower limb and spine.
One of the main tools for treating and preventing flat feet is massage. And, of course, this includes massage of the lower extremities.
