EASY Cute Little Watercolor Bear!

The video shows creation of a cute little watercolor bear that is an easy beginner-friendly project. This video takes you step-by-step through the process of creating a 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" picture which can then be "framed" using a little clipboard. Great "lazy day" project to follow along when you want to create but without getting into a complicated process.

SUPPLIES
3-1/2” x 3-1/2” square of watercolor paper (I used cold press; 140 lb.)
one or two paintbrushes – I used filberts – one a size 10 and the other a size 6
white gel pen (I used a size 10 Gelly Roll)
Pigma Micron 005 black waterproof pen
Low tack painter's tape
Watercolors – a basic set of primary colors with white will work fine if starting out; I used a Jane Davenport set but this does NOT require expensive watercolors)
Paper towels
Jar or cup to hold water
A nonporous surface for mixing colors. Most watercolor sets come with a palette, or you can buy inexpensive ones at places like Dollar Tree.
COLORS USED IN PROJECT
Browns (a dark and a light)
Reddish Brown (you can mix brown with red OR yellow OR orange)
White (some sets do not have white so be sure to check before buying)
Red
Pink (you can mix Red with white and water to get a nice pink)
Black
