Jesse Freidin, a seasoned professional photographer, has built books with Blurb for 15 years. Now, he is channeling his latest portraiture project into a book as a Blurb creator.
His project "Are You OK?" blends powerful photos and interviews with trans and non-binary youth living in states with anti-trans legislation.
We discuss his journey into photography, his niche as a fine art dog photographer, and his current work documenting the experiences of 150 trans and non-binary youth over three years. He also sheds light on how he uses visual storytelling as a tool for education and societal change.
