However, whatever sins a common man commits through thought, word, deed, whether knowingly or unknowingly, they will have to be reduced. In Matsya Purana, Shani Dev's body is like a sapphire of Indra's brilliance, he rides on a vulture, holds the Dhaneshwar arrow in his hand and also holds the Var mudra with one hand, Shani Dev's fierce form is also sinister.
