This song felt special after yesterday’s guilty verdict convicting Devin Chauvin of murdering George Floyd. We finally saw a glimmer of accountability, but it breaks my heart to think that it took a motherless child, crying out for his mother to get people to listen to what we’ve been screaming for centuries.
I pray that George can breathe a little easier hearing the news while being wrapped in his mother’s arms in heaven. 🙏🏾💞
