In this video I go through the simple steps to remove an 18TB WD SATA drive from its USB Enclosure.

The main tool for the job is a pry tool or flat head screwdriver.

Internal SATA Hard drives are generally more expensive when bought on their own, so a quick tip for saving some money is to buy the unit as an External USB Hard drive and "Shuck" it.
Shucking is the buzz word for removing the internal SATA drive from its USB enclosure to be used as an internal SATA drive.

This specific internal SATA drive is the very well regarded WD180EDGZ.
