Pro tip: Avoid the Protis DVD recorder (Sony knockoff)
If you have one of these Sony knockoff DVD recorders (Protis, Pegasus, Emerson, Naxa, Wolverine, Cariviews, Koho, etc.), chuck 'er, man! It looks almost identical to the Sony VRD-MC6, but the similarity is only skin-deep, as you'll know right away when you see and hear the horrendously bad recordings it makes.
