Android emulator run on Macbook M1 Apple silicon, current Google is developing Android emulator for M1 Apple silicon.
In video, Android emulator is running on M1 chip of Apple and look like this emulator run is very smooth.
With Apple Silicon support, we can run ARM on ARM via hardware virtualization. This should improve the app development experience via higher fidelity/convenience when running Android apps which are typically built for ARM and currently require an x86 rebuild to run on the x86 emulator.
