Applying digital dress on a real person
Short version of the process of applying my digital design on a real person.
This is how I do it by steps:
1. Create square pattern and place a real photo as graphics on it in Clo3d
2. Match avatar pose to the one on the photo (the most important step that allows you to make the item fit better and keep final image quality in the end), the pose should be close to the original (if possible).
3. Clear background of the photo if you want to use different one.
4. Match lights in Clo3d with the photo or any other chosen background
5. Make 3d item render without avatar and background (depending on the design it may be better for the avatar to be rendered too).
6. Transform 3d item in tools like Photoshop for eg. to make it fit perfectly (I use Pixelmator Pro and Procreate transformation tools). Then make necessary photo retouching to make it fit well and look natural.
